Three Days on the Town: Day Three - courtesy Tourism Vancouver with additional material from GayVancouver.Net

We've outlined three days in Vancouver that will ensure you see great sights, view outstanding attractions and experience an excellent sampling of all our great city has to offer. Try out one, two or all three days' suggestions for yourself.

Here is day three (you can find day one here and day two here):

Maybe sleep in this morning before heading out to join the locals who line up at The Elbow Room for a stick-to-the-ribs breakfast and a little early morning abuse!

Museum of AnthropologyNext, head to the Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia. It's one of Canada's finest examples of contemporary architecture housing impressive First Nations artifacts in a beautiful setting on the western edge of the University of British Columbia. Many locals are not aware of the outdoor garden located between the museum and the Point Grey Cliffs. There are 10 totem poles towering over grassy knolls and two Haida houses carved by some of the West Coast's finest First Nations artists. You can enjoy the totem poles and the breathtaking views from this little park whether the museum is open or not.

It's early afternoon and time for a quick bite at Hamburger Mary's in the Davie Village before some serious shopping on Robson Street, Vancouver's equivalent of Rodeo Drive. In the evening during the summer, you'll want tickets to Bard on the Beach staged outdoors or check out the offerings from the Arts Club either on their Granville Island stages or at the historic Stanley Theatre.

Bard on the Beach

Finish off the day by checking out what's happening in the local gay bars, pubs and cabarets.
