We've found that one of the best things about the internet (besides the porn) is the information available for gays and lesbians about cities around the world.  One of those resources close to home is Gay Edmonton.  So if you're planning a trip to our Webmaster's birthplace stop by and find out what do to, where to go and everything else while you're in Edmonton.

St Louis Gay Guide Online has become not only an incredible resource for St. Louis but a web resource for all GLBT people around the world.  The site features an incredible links directory to national, local and international gay sites and resources.  The site also features great GLBT news and features.

Blithe House Quarterly is a quarterly ezine of contemporary gay short stories.  Published online four times a year, the site features previously unpublished short stories by emerging and established gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered authors.  A well designed web site makes it easy to get to what you're really after - some great gay short stories!

Finding what you want on the internet can sometimes be a difficult task.   Finding web sites (other than porn) for gay and bisexual men and women can be even more difficult.  Gayscape is here to help.  One of the best lesbigay search engines we have found on the net makes your surfing that much easier.  Do a full keyword search or choose from their comprehensive categories.  Claiming over 52,000 indexed websites this should be one of your first stops on the internet.

How many of us spend more time out of Canada then exploring all the regions of this great land?  Probably a lot!  We at Big Brother Productions are guilty of this too.  But if an exploration of Canada includes a trip Halifax, then no trip there would be complete with a stop at GayHalifax.com before you leave home!  A great resource for those that want to visit and we can't imagine not using it if we lived there too!

Planning a trip to La Belle Province?  Then Visit Gay Quebec should be your first stop!  A great resource for anyone visiting Quebec and in particular Montreal and Quebec City.  The webmaster(s) of this site have done a particularly good job with the site interface although it seemed a little slow but we're going to chalk that up to our internet connection at the time.

The Women's Creative Network is a Victoria women's group which aims to "cultivate an empowering atmosphere for women who love women, where enterprise, creativity and enthusiasm abound, while celebrating diversity..."  The is Women's Creative Network web site is simple, easily navigable, gives good info about the organization, offers an up-to-date events page including both a special events area and a regular events calendar.

Gay.com is a comprehensive portal site which tries to be all things for the lesbigay community.   And, for the most part, succeeds in this daunting task.  Information, news, interactivity, gay.com has it all!

While not much to look at, the LEGIT web site does provide some great information for same-sex couples looking to immigrate to Canada.  This should help alleviate the enquiries we receive here at LesBiGay Vancouver Online regarding immigration.

The West End Softball Association (or WESA) is the local gay and lesbian softball league.  A nicely designed web site, it is chockfull of information for those already participating and the "wanna-be" jocks like me!

The Names Project Canada Web site is the electronic equivalent of The Canadian AIDS Memorial Quilt.  The most amazing section is the ability to see sections of the quilt by searching alphabetically or viewing the quilt section by section.

The Data Lounge - this has got to be one of the best LesBigay sites we have found on the net (and we're not easily impressed).  News, surveys, forums and gossip are combined for a site worth checking out and a definite bookmark for any queer's browser.

Since 1986, the award-winning Baltimore Alternative has provided hard-hitting news and information, incisive commentary, and spirited arts and entertainment coverage. That's why the Alternative is Maryland's premiere queer news source.

Heard Sundays from 6-8pm on Vancouver radio station CiTR (101.9FM), QueerFM offers a variety of news, information, and music for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities.

The International Association of Gay Square Dance Clubs® a lesbian and gay organization that is the umbrella organization for gay square dance clubs in the United States, Canada, and Australia, formed by and for lesbians and gay men in their community and for their friends.

Foundation for Equal Families mandate is to achieve equality and recognition for same-sex relationships and associated family rights in Canada through legal action and education.
