creamy.org is definitely not for the faint-of-heart or the humour-challenged.  The site is a singularly odd blend of parody, original humour, satire, writing, travel stories, photography, graphic art and a slew of interactive web toys – more than a 100 diversions from a self-identified faggot tragically born without a “line” to “cross.”  As Jon says, most people don’t “get the jokes,” but it isn’t made for most people.  We can hardly wait to see if Jon skewers us for our award!

Cumm.co.uk is an enigma among websites.  Part escort promotion, part sexual instruction, this is one website that we kept browsing for hours with little gems around each corner.  There's nothing special about its looks but the content is something we'll continue exploring for sometime.  We just love the term "homoflexible" too!

Dadsathome.com was developed by and for gay fathers & gay stay-at-home dads in the hope to bring aid and assistance to gay fathers in the day-to-day trials and tribulations of raising children.  We think it is a great concept, long overdue and well worth a visit.

BlackGayUK.com claims to be the United Kingdom's most comprehensive lifestyle portal catering to the black gay and lesbian community.  And while it does have a definite UK flavour, it has a lot of information for black gays and lesbians worldwide.  Covering everything from news to current affairs to entertainment, it is definitely worth a visit.

The Gay Spirit Culture Project claims there "is a need for healing and an alternative to the bar culture, unsafe sex, body obsession, sex addiction and other destructive behaviours." And they are out to help fill this need through dialogue, action and discussion.  Check it out.

Wildfaith.com covers a lot of ground including spirituality, poetry, a personal journal and much more.  The site owner Darren Grizzle also answers that time honoured question: why do bears dance?  Reason enough, we think, to receive our award.

When Louis & Ryan's Homepage was sent to us for consideration to receive our award the nominator simply said "its just the best looking site of all".  Maybe a bit overstated but we do agree that it does look good and well worth a look!  (Once you enter the site you will find a link to the English language version.  That is, of course, if you don't want to read it in Louis and Ryan's native language).

Lesbians of the South brings Lesbians from the south together for chat, news, group events and sharing animated rainbow pride gifs. An all around great site with great resources.

Daniel serves up some good advice in his Boy's Guide to IRC.  His first piece of advice is "don't take IRC seriously".  As users of IRC ourselves we think his advice is spot on - have fun but be careful as everything in the world of the internet is not necessarily what it seems!

What exactly is a Lou Lou GarouSounds like something from "Cat and the Hat".  Actually, it's the home of drag queen extraordinaire Lou Lou.  Make sure you have Flash installed in your browser, crank up the volume on your computer and enjoy.  We did!

The Lesbian and Gay Community Center of Kansas City website is a great online resource for everything gay in Kansas City.  It keeps an up-to-date calendar of events, news, community directory and much more.  Easy to navigate and find information this site is well worth a visit if you find yourself in the Kansas City area.

Barry & Charlie have been together almost 25 years.  Wow!  We hate to think of what that means in dog years :)  They say they created their website because they wanted to stay in touch with friends and family but we think it serves a much bigger purpose - to expose and educate long-term gay relationships to those that don't believe they exist!  Thanks guys, and here's to 25 more!

Hilly Bits is one of those great websites with a really, really long URL or web address.  But once you find it, it is a great source of information on famous lesbians, links for lesbians, films for lesbians, and stories by and for lesbians.  Well designed and worth a visit by, umm, lesbians!

The Other Side of the Rainbow explains from a wife's perspective how her relationship is developing/changing as her partner completes sex reassignment surgery.  What is more intriguing is this site is F2M and includes narratives from the children of the relationship (ages 5 to 18).

For the online Lesbian community, Never Never Land offers up a great selection of resources, poetry, online chat, monthly newsletter and more in a nicely designed package.  As the site says, whether you need a kick in the pants or a shoulder to cry on, there's nothing quite like a room full of friends to help you out.

Dan & Rollos Amsterdam Night Tours has something for every taste.  From vanilla to alternative, these "tours" of Amsterdam look like they are a great deal more than you'll probably want to write home about!

We almost picked Broken Purple Crayon as this week's Proud! Out Loud! website simply for its name but it is so much more than just a catchy title.  "Snack" has put together a great personal site with lots of the usual personal information, links, etc.  But what sets this site apart is the humour and great design.  Be sure to check out the snacktionary!

Providing a warm and welcoming setting for all women into leather the Vancouver Women in Leather website is place where women can socialize and educate themselves in various methods of play. The site is informative, well constructed and keeps a comprehensive calendar of events for the leather community.

We in Vancouver feel for our neighbours to the east with the SARS scare so we couldn't think of anyone more fitting for this week's award than Zelda's!  In the heart of Toronto's gay ghetto this is the place to plan the rest of your visit to Toronto's gay Church Street area and take in a plethora of special event nights.

The focus for Our World Too is in building strong alternative families and bills itself as the ultimate gay and lesbian parenting resource.  Based on content we'd tend to agree with a ton of information for gay and lesbian parents and families on everything from adoption to spirtuality.

The choice of Markied.com - The Home of the Real Markie D was easy for two reasons.  First, Mark said he was single and needed some more exposure to help him find "Mr Right" and secondly, we laughed ourselves silly with some of his ad spoofs (our favourite is for Lynx).  Oh yeah, there was a third reason too - flattery gets you everywhere :)

We've said it before and we'll say it again, we're the best internet voyeurs around!  And that's exactly why we love Steve and Mike's Home WorldYou really need to check out Steve and Mike's "wish-list" (and we'll be watching their progress!).

Just who is Brent Hartinger?  Well, thanks to the tour of Brent's Brain, we get to find out first hand.  A critically acclaimed author and playwright, Brent Hartinger provides us with the inside scoop of what really is going on inside his head (and perhaps sell a book or two along the way).

We love it when websites don't take themselves too seriously.  This is especially true for drag queens and lesbians (okay, I just know I'm going to be in trouble for that remark).  This is the reason we loved 640 Chittenden Street so much - it doesn't take itself too seriously.  A great place for the lesbian community on the internet - be sure to check it out!  BTW, we just love the cowgirl photos!

We still believe that some of the best stuff on the 'net is maintained by individuals giving us a voyeur's glimpse into someone else's life.  Scotty's Slice of the Web is such a website.  But not only does it have the obligatory photos, links, etc but this site offers us a unique insight into a man coming to terms with his homosexuality,  how it affects his children and his battle to keep them in his life.

We always knew the internet had something of interest to everyone and Gay Philately / Gay History proves it.  This site features a collection of  prominent persons, gay, lesbian or bisexual, who have either been honored on postage stamps or other philatelic material.

Vancouver Island Lesbian Resources (VILR) was been created as a gateway for lesbians seeking connection to the lesbian community on Vancouver Island. VILR provides both online and offline sources of support via e-lists, web boards and websites for women who live in isolation either in small communities or alone in urban centres on Vancouver Island.

We would have chosen this as our website of the week purely based on its name.  But alas (or thankfully depending on how you look at it)  Pistol & Enema is just a great site for visitors to Key West, Florida.

Brandon Teena's story is one that touched us all.  If you're not familiar with his story this is a wonderful place to get to know him.  It is chockfull of interesting information on Brandon, his life and death.

We're usually not big on featuring commercial sites as our Website of the Week.  But after visiting GayCoffees.com we decided to make an exception because of it's novel concept in fundraising for local LGBT charities.  Starbucks, beware!
